Welcome to TweetSmart. We're glad you stopped by. TweetSmart takes the power of Twitter and combines it with the benefits of group-think to deliver you the best of the Web, right now. The idea is simple. People are sharing links to great content across the Web about all sorts of stuff - from funny to serious, business to books to bizarre.
A lot of the content is dubious - but there are people you trust. There are people out there that you know share great content. You just don't have them all in one place. TweetSmart aims to be that place. Think of TweetSmart as the editorial board for your World Wide Web experience. Or better - the trusted filter of the fire-hose delivery of information coming at you unabated.
So how does it work?
Pretty simply, actually. TweetSmart follows people we find interesting, folks who share great information and content on a regular basis. Those folks then send the links that they typically share with their friends and followers via Twitter to TweetSmart. TweetSmart segments them by category so you can pick and choose your area of interest and then delivers them to you all in one, neat, easy-to-use interface.
Could you follow all of these people yourself? Sure you could! But you're back to the fire-hose dilemma. Many of the folks that share with TweetSmart are veritble never-ending fountains of updates and info on their personal feeds. TweetSmart allows you to get the best links and ideas out on the Web. Separating the digital wheat from the cyber-chaff.
Pardon the Mess
We're still launching and because of our disdain for words like Alpha, Beta and most of the rest of the Greek alphabet (although we're still particular to Omicron) we're just open for business but we're just getting started. So there's lots of features left to be added, mess to be cleaned up and more. But hang with us, give us your feedback and let us know what you want to see. We'll build this sucker together.
Thanks
Thanks for checking us out, thanks for telling a friend, and thanks for your feedback. We hope you like it as much as we do.
